A website scan needs no connection. Search and visitor figures need Google Search Console or Google Analytics. Changes MayhemSEO publishes need your website platform.

Until Google finishes reviewing MayhemSEO, connecting Search Console or Google Analytics shows a Google screen that says “Google hasn't verified this app”. Choose Advanced to continue.

Connecting a website platform to publish fixes needs a paid plan.

The quickest way to connect WordPress is the MayhemSEO Connector plugin, which needs Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress or The SEO Framework; a developer can connect other setups by hand.

After connecting an account, you may still need to choose a website, allow access, and wait for data to load.

Do I have to connect every service?
No. A website scan works without any connection. Connect Search Console or Analytics only if you can see that website’s data in Google, and your website platform only if you want MayhemSEO to publish changes for you.
What is Google Search Console?
A free Google service that shows the searches people used to find your website, how often your pages appeared, and how often they were clicked. MayhemSEO reads it to show those figures beside each page and to help order your fixes.
Does connecting a service change my website?
Search and visitor connections only read data. Website changes need a separate connection, the right access, a preview, and your approval.
Can I connect Bing or submit to IndexNow?
No. Bing and IndexNow connections are not currently available for customers to use in MayhemSEO.
