Connections

Bring your website information into one place.

Connect Google Search Console first to confirm the website is yours. Then add other connections when you need more information or want to review changes.

  • Website checks do not edit your pages
  • No automatic website changes

Connections · setup requirements

Search Console first, then only what you need

Fictional sample · no customer data
  1. Google Search Console

    Required first

Confirms the website is yours, before your first check

  2. Google Analytics 4

    Your permission needed

Choose your property, then load its visitor results

  3. Website platform connections

    Separate setup

Supported changes through GitHub, Shopify, Webflow, or WordPress

Search Console comes first
Connecting Google Search Console confirms the website is yours. It is required before your first check. The check does not edit pages.
More website information
Cloudflare and website request records need a supported connection and available data.
Website changes
Connecting a website does not give approval to publish. A change still needs the right permissions, a preview, and your approval.

This example explains setup; it does not show your connection status. Bing and IndexNow connections are not currently available for customers.

What gets in the way

The problem

Important information is scattered between your website, Google, and your hosting tools. You should not have to connect everything just to get started.

How MayhemSEO helps

What you get

Add useful information as you connect services. Each connection explains its setup and limits.

How it works

A clear path from question to next step.

See what to expect, what you can learn, and how to use the results for your website.

01

Step 1

Understand search and visitors

Connect Google Search Console to see how people find you. Google Analytics 4 adds visits and recorded actions on your website.

  • Choose the website to connect in Google
  • See whether the connection and data update worked
  • Give permission separately for each service
02

Step 2

Check how your website is served

If you use a supported Cloudflare connection or server records, review how pages are delivered and when search engines request them.

  • Choose your website in Cloudflare
  • Available page delivery and request records
  • Clear labels when records cover only part of your website
03

Step 3

Connect your website platform

Open Website changes to set up a supported GitHub, Shopify, Webflow, or WordPress connection.

  • Permission checks
  • Available changes and their previews
  • Your approval before a change is made

Trust is part of the product

What to know before you start.

See what you need, what the results can tell you, and where more information is needed. Measurements and estimates stay clearly labeled, and website changes need your approval.

See how scoring works →
  1. 01

Available connections depend on your account and which services MayhemSEO has enabled.

  2. 02

After connecting an account, you may still need to choose a website, allow access, and wait for data to load.

  3. 03

Sending business events automatically requires help setting up a supported service. Confirming the sender does not prove that search improvements caused a sale or enquiry.

Contact support →
Do I have to connect every service?+

No. Only Google Search Console is required, because it confirms the website is yours. Add other connections when you want the information or workflow they provide.

Does connecting a service change my website?+

Search and visitor connections read data. Website changes need a separate connection, the right access, a preview, and your approval.

Can I connect Bing or submit to IndexNow?+

No. Bing and IndexNow connections are not currently available for customers to use in MayhemSEO.
