1. The service and its operator
These terms apply to MayhemSEO at mayhemseo.com, operated by Austin Peterson, based in Saskatchewan, Canada. Our contact address is 319 Glen Cairn Terrace, Kingston, Ontario K7M 4A6, Canada. Contact support through the Support page. Privacy questions can be sent to mayhemseo@gmail.com.
MayhemSEO provides website checks, SEO reports, connected performance information, and supported tools for reviewing and implementing website changes. Available features and usage limits depend on your plan and the connections enabled for your account.
2. Your account and authority
You must be at least 16 and have the legal capacity or authorization required to use the service and enter into these terms. If you use MayhemSEO for an organization, you must be authorized to act for that organization.
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for the actions you authorize and for giving workspace access only to appropriate people.
Only submit websites, connect services, or approve changes that you own or are authorized to manage. You must have the rights and permissions needed for information and content you provide.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use MayhemSEO to break the law, infringe others' rights, collect information without authority, evade access controls or usage limits, disrupt websites or the service, distribute malicious content, or misrepresent your identity. Do not attempt to access another workspace's private information.
4. Reports and website changes
Reports reflect the pages, data sources, permissions and time periods available when a check runs. Data can be delayed, sampled, incomplete, or unavailable. Scores and recommendations are decision aids. We do not guarantee rankings, indexing, traffic, revenue, or any particular business result.
Review recommendations and their supporting evidence before acting. Website scans do not themselves authorize publishing. Supported changes require the corresponding connection and approval flow. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of content and changes you approve. Keep appropriate independent backups; a rollback feature does not replace them.
5. Plans, payments, and renewal
The price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes, and included limits are shown when you choose a paid plan or in a separately agreed order. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until canceled. A free plan is separate from a paid subscription.
Stripe processes checkout and subscription payments. The checkout and receipt identify the payment arrangements that apply to your purchase. Keep your payment information current. Failed payments can limit access to paid features.
Upgrades and monthly-to-annual changes can take effect immediately, with a prorated charge displayed through the billing flow. Downgrades and annual-to-monthly changes take effect at the next renewal, honoring the current paid period. A change that combines an upgrade and a downgrade may need to be made separately. Review the billing information before confirming a change.
Enterprise arrangements are sales-assisted and may have separately agreed terms. No discount, promotion, service credit, or service-level commitment applies unless expressly offered in your purchase or separate written agreement.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel an existing subscription through Plans & billing and the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and paid access continues through that period. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next subscription charge. Contact support if you cannot access the cancellation controls.
Payments are non-refundable, including unused time after cancellation or a downgrade, except where a refund is required by applicable law or by the payment provider's applicable terms. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights. Contact support about billing errors or a disputed charge.
Canceling a subscription, disconnecting a provider, and deleting an account are separate actions. Consult the Privacy Policy for deletion requests and the conditions affecting automated account deletion.
7. Content, connections, and privacy
You retain your rights in the websites, content and information you provide. You permit us to access, process, store and display that information as needed to provide the features you request, subject to the Privacy Policy. These terms do not transfer ownership of your website or content to us.
Third-party services remain subject to their own terms, permissions, availability and limits. MayhemSEO is an independent service; use of a Google or other provider connection does not mean that provider endorses our reports or recommendations.
8. Availability and ending access
Features can be unavailable during maintenance, outages, provider failures or security incidents. We may restrict access to address misuse, security risks, nonpayment or legal requirements. Contact support if you believe a restriction is an error.
You may stop using the service, cancel renewal, disconnect providers, and request deletion as described above. Ending access does not erase charges already due or records that must be retained under applicable law.
9. Applicable law and updates
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Saskatchewan, Canada, subject to any mandatory protections and rights that apply where you live. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Contact support first with a question or concern so we can investigate. We may update these terms and will provide notice where required. The effective date identifies the current version; separate written agreements may contain additional terms for the services they cover.
